n courtesy of the French Line, Dammann reminds of the 30s when Dammann Frères developed the tea blends which were served on board of the liners of the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique.
These blends participated to build the image of excellence and quality illustrating this certain art of voyaging.
The blue edition of caddies and chests are about the “lords of the sea” and the white edition about “service on board”.
These previously unreleased creations are called "promenade sur le pont" (walk on the bridge), "première classe" (first class), "thé dansant" (tea dance), "le Paris" "le Normandie" or "le France".
The blend "Ruban bleu" (blue ribbon) is a wink at the competition between the different companies with the objective of crossing the North Atlantic as fast as possible. The fastest of them had the privilege to wear the blue ribbon as a trophy.
Dammann is proud to let revive this nostalgic era and permits you to appreciate the teas of the French Line reminding to the “années folles”.
