AFTER 200 YEARS, THE STORY CONTINUES TO BE WRITTEN
A place that reflects our ambitions
Last April, the House of Dammann Frères inaugurated its new headquarters and production site in Dreux, spanning 26,500 m².
Designed to align the production facilities with the House’s premium positioning, this new site stands out through its refined architecture, a roof fitted with photovoltaic panels, and the use of heat pumps.
This project also made it possible to reorganize blending and packaging operations, with packaging capacities now doubled — and in some cases tripled. Storage areas have increased by 30%, notably thanks to optimized ceiling height.
Developed in collaboration with GSE and architect Matthieu Calvet, this ambitious project supports the House’s growth while reinforcing its environmental commitments.

Beyond energy and environmental considerations, particular attention was also given to employee well-being in the design of the spaces: landscaped patios, natural light, communal areas, and facilities designed to enhance quality of life at work.
The objective is to provide a working environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing, in line with the culture of the House.

This inauguration also provided an opportunity to celebrate the House’s 200th anniversary by bringing together all those who contribute, directly or indirectly, to its reputation and success
Public officials, institutions, partners, journalists, and clients were invited to discover behind the scenes of the factory through a guided tour of the production facilities, filled with the aromas of jasmine, smoked tea, and fresh mint. An immersion into the heart of a unique savoir-faire, with the House proudly mastering the entire value chain from leaf to cup.

The ceremony continued with a cocktail created by Michelin-starred chef Mory Sacko, who incorporated several Dammann Frères teas into his creations.
He highlighted his long-standing attachment to tea, both as a beverage and as an ingredient, as well as its essential role in the cultures that inspire his cuisine—from Japan to the African continent, and including France, where it is consumed daily and accompanied by meaningful rituals.

Having become a “mission-driven company” in 2024 and awarded EPV certification in 2025, Dammann Frères reaffirms through this project a clear ambition: to nurture the connection between people and plants, for a more sustainable quality of life.
With this new site, Dammann Frères gives tangible expression to its purpose by reconciling sustainable development, human commitment, and the enhancement of the bond between humans and plants.
Through its LEAF & LIFE program, the company develops its activities in close collaboration with its growers, partners, and employees, in a logic of positive impact on both the environment and society.
