Black Tea
Thé d'Inde - Darjeeling 1st flush Rohini Moonlight 2025
Due to its location below the Darjeeling region and the right climatic conditions, Rohini's garden is renowned for its early spring tea production. Soft, light oxidation produces a tea with slightly astringent nuances and a very aromatic, spring-like, floral finish.
Harvest: Terminal bud plus one leaf.
Garden Details: Located between 300 and 900 meters in altitude in the Kurseong Valley.
Harvest Date: Between February 8 and 12.
Particularity: The cultivars used in this plantation are B-157 (Bannockburn) and Clonal AV2.
Expert's Notes: A 1st flush full of smoothness and roundness. Notes of white flowers and a very light hint of fruit. A fine example of how expertise can yield unique lots even at lower altitudes.
