White tea
Tea from China - Yin Zhen Pointes blanches
Downy buds only, plucked and dried to protect their delicate flavor. Sourced from the Fujian province, this tea is set apart by the freshness and delicacy of its liquor, embodied by aromas of blossom, straw and cocoa.
Harvest: Hand-picked.
Harvest Date: March/April.
Particularity: This tea comes from the Bai Hao cultivar, reserved for white tea production. It is the highest grade of white tea, hand-harvested at the very beginning of spring.
Expert’s Notes: One of my favorite teas, a true personal favorite. Delicate and comforting, Fujian teas are increasingly sought after on the domestic market. It takes real effort to secure a lot that meets our standards.
Tasting Moment: All day long.
Food Pairing: Broth.
