Rooibos

A plant species endemic to South Africa, Rooibos is cultivated only in the Cederberg region located in the west of the country in the north of the Cape province. From the acacia family, rooibos, which means “reddish bush” in Afrikaans, is a shrub that can reach 1 to 2 meters in height. Appreciated for its round and sweet infusion with naturally woody and subtly honeyed notes, this caffeine-free plant is the ideal base for imagining gourmet compositions to be enjoyed throughout the day.
